The Houston Rockets fly to Texas to face the San Antonio Spurs at AT&T Center on Wednesday night.
The Rockets enter the game off a strong offensive performance in their win over the Washington Wizards. Houston has scored at least 114 points in 2 of the last 3 games as James Harden has led the way averaging 31.6 points per game and 12.7 assists per game only a couple weeks into the season.
Harden has a chance to make history against the Spurs as the first player to have 30 points and 10 assists in five straight games since Michael Jordan.
In order to do so he must go through a San Antonio Spurs team that expects to be healthier. Tony Parker will return to action after missing the last 3 games due to knee soreness and Danny Green practiced for the first time this season this week.
San Antonio still has the defensive player of the year Kawhi Leonard at the helm as the Spurs lead the league in 3-point shooting, draining 40.1 percent of shots from beyond the arc as well as shooting 87 percent of their free throws.
