Atlanta Hawks continue Tinder-inspired tradition in “Harry’s Love Nest”

Atlanta Hawks

Things are about to get weird in Atlanta again.

The Atlanta Hawks are hosting their second “Swipe Right” event following the apparently steamy success of the inaugural one held last season.  The concept is similar to the popular Tinder app (a sponsor of the event because everything is marketing these days), which allows affection seekers to pick their matches by swiping right.

Swipe Right 2.0 features Harry’s Nest, a massive seven-and-a-half-foot-wide custom built bird’s nest where Harry the Hawks mascot will emcee. Power 96.1 FM radio personality Riley Couture will host a speed dating session during the game. Cushioned banquettes in the next will accommodate as many as four fans and the area will be behind the goal near the bottom of section 108.

There were plenty of hilarious reactions to last year’s event, including the Nets who shot down the concept in the Brooklyn way.

This one seems poised to be even more raunchier.

After some complains of not being able to find fellow Tinderers, the Hawks promise that fans with Swipe Right tickets will be able to find matches up to a mile out.

Hey, if all else fails, Harry the Mascot might be available?
