Eddie Olczyk really got into analyzing a young fan eating ice cream

So something strange happened during Sunday’s Red Wings-Blackhawks game at the United Center, and it didn’t even happen on the ice.

Just before the start of the second period, Blackhawks color commentator Eddie Olczyk spotted a young fan enjoying his soft serve ice cream.

Then, Olczyk proceeded to freak out about it.

You can check out the wild reaction in the video above but Olczyk gets very into the kid’s love for his ice cream. He even busted out a few arrows and everything to point to the center of the ice cream.

Maybe Eddie O was just in the mood for some soft serve ice cream?
