Cubs making clear effort to not suck this year

Joe Maddon is always up to something.

The Cubs manager is constantly finding ways to spark his team or keep them loose, which is important this year considering the enormous expectations they have.

One of the ways he’s doing that this spring training is by getting them shirts that say ‘Try not to suck.’

The saying started when Maddon told Javier Baez “try not to suck” when Baez was brought up for the second time from the minors, and it seems to be sticking with everyone.

If you want to buy the shirt, you can here and all the sales will go to Maddon’s Respect 90 foundation.
