Ridiculous half-court prayer in high school game hits nothing but net

It’s almost spring time so that means we are in the heart of college and high school basketball season.

That also means we are in the middle of wild, buzzer-beating shots season.

We’ve seen some ridiculous ones already from a backwards, full court shot to fading out-of-bounds threes.

But check out this one from a Connecticut high school basketball game between Trumbull and Ridgefield.

With the game tied, Trumbull took the lead on a three with less than a second remaining. Then Ridgefield followed it up with this prayer that sent the game into overtime and nearly brought the roof down.

Ridgefield ended up losing the game in overtime, 66-64, but at least they got that shot to remember.
