The Blackhawks made a girl cry on her birthday

Relax, the Blackhawks did something nice.

Shelby Greenwood was heading to to her first Blackhawks game to celebrate her birthday. The Chicago fan from Kentucky tweeted at the Blackhawks that she wanted to meet a player while at the game and the team granted her wish.

As a part of Chicago’s #WhatsYourGoal promotion, Shelby got to meet coach Joel Quenneville and the Blackhawks team.

Through tears, she sang along to Chelsea Dagger and cheered throughout the game. The team stopped for photos, signed a card for her and even got her a birthday cake. Check out the video below:
