College baseball teams joust during rain delay

Rain delays can be long, boring and sometimes cold for both players and fans.

The hour-and-a-half delay during the George Washington and Delaware State baseball game was none of those things. Instead of sitting in the dugout, the two teams decided to do what any bored college kids would do.

Joust.

Instead of amour and spears, players wore catchers helmets and used bats for the bout. The Colonials not only won the jousting match, but also shut out the Hornets, 2-0.
