Marshawn Lynch goes ‘Beast Mode,’ gets red card less than one minute into charity soccer match

Marshawn Lynch may not be a Seattle Seahawk anymore, but he’s still supporting his Pacific Northwest friends like Sounders winger, Steve Zakuani. In Zakuani’s charity soccer match during the Fourth of July weekend, Marshawn Lynch did what he does best: he ran the ball. Literally.

Lynch, who opted to wear sliders on the field rather than cleats, got a solid pass from teammate Eddie Johnson, a former MLS player. Instead of dribbling the ball towards the net, Lynch went into full beast mode, picking up the soccer ball and running it into the goal.

But he wasn’t done. After being penalized with a red card, Lynch takes the red card right out of the ref’s hand and savagely throws it to the ground and punts the soccer ball (and his flip flop) away. All this happened within seconds of Lynch being subbed into the match.

Last week, Lynch’s trainer posted a video of the Raiders running back doing foot drills on the beach but it didn’t look like he put those intense foot skills to work at the charity event. Though he wasn’t in the game for long, Lynch sure did make his seconds count and gave the crowd something to laugh about.

Best ads from Super Bowl LII

The best Super Bowl ads made us laugh, cry, and audibly wonder how much a trip to Australia would cost.

Here are some of the best ads from Super Bowl LII:

GOAT Ad: Doritos, Mountain Dew collaboration with Peter Dinklage and Morgan Freeman rapping Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott

Peter Dinklage and Morgan Freeman in any Super Bowl commercial was going to be epic, but having them RAP (lip sync, obviously) Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott?! That was what Super Bowl commercials are made for.

Leaving on a Jet Plane: Australia Tourism

It’s cold on the East Coast right now and Australia looks nice and warm, so this ad should move Australia to the next spot on your vacation list. The ad referenced a “remake” of ‘Crocodile Dundee’ with Chris Hemsworth and Danny McBride, the incredible Australian wine, and stunning beaches.

Laugh Out Loud: NFL’s Dirty Dancing tribute ad

Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. had the time of their lives during Super Bowl LII, paying tribute to Dirty Dancing’s famous dance routine and acrobatic leap done by Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze.

You are, you’re a Superstar… commercial: Amazon

Amazon brought the star power to their Amazon Echo spot, with Gordon Ramsey, Cardi B, Leslie Jones, Rebel Wilson and Anthony Hopkins, filling in for a voiceless Amazon Alexa.

Get the tissues: Hyundai

Hyundai’s ad where car buyers meeting cancer patients that they helped by purchasing a car hit you right in the feels. It was obvious that every parent was on the edge of tears while watching the videos of patients saying thank you.

Get out the tissues.

Hyundai donates a certain amount of money for every car purchased to pediatric cancer research. Their Super Bowl ad featured car buyers meeting patients who benefited from their purchase.

The patients wanted to say thank you to buyers and man it got REAL dusty in a lot of living rooms around the country.
